Legal Status of Kratom
As of this publishing, kratom is currently banned in the states of Tennessee, Indiana, Wisconsin and Virginia. It is illegal to sell or even posses kratom in these states. More and more people are standing up for this miraculous plant however, the last few bills introduced in 2015 to ban kratom in New Jersey and Florida were unsuccessful.
There is an organization called The Kratom Association that is on the forefront of this fight. Should a bill to ban kratom come up in your state (where it is not already banned), The Kratom Association is guaranteed to be there fighting this fight. There are just too many individuals (likely hundreds of thousands) who are benefitting from this amazing plant that will do anything they can to help keep it legal. Thankfully, because it is hard to match Big-Pharma's lobbying power.
